Jolly Roger RV Resort

I’m going to miss this place! One of our favorite RV parks so far. Our premium pull-through (site 76) was very big! We have a 43’ fifth wheel. Had mild challenges getting in and out due to the palm trees, but really not too bad - just had to take it slow! And they had grass and beautiful greenery, which was so refreshing compared to other RV parks in the Keys. Everyone was very friendly. Nice pool. Package/mail acceptance was helpful. Amazing sunsets at Tiki Beach! And a huge dog park for our pup! This place is walking distance to a coffee shop and beer garden. Could even walk to the Dolphin Research Center or S.S. Wreck for food if you wanted to. We would absolutely stay here again if we were ever in the area again.

We were so pleased with the accommodations. Beach area was awesome cant get much better. Sitting looking at sunsets gorgeous. Pool wirh the greenery around it beautiful. Will stay again. Just a few suggestions. Campsites could use rock to help with sand spares. A light over vanity in bathroom for old people that have a hard time seeing. Blowdryer, iron and ironing board in rooms.

I must say jolly Roger is very well kept up. The staff is very friendly, and the place is absolutely clean. There is a few things if I ran an RV park that I would allow for instants they do not allow large Mats in your entryway because I was told they like their grass. I travel a lot and never had anyone tell me I cannot have a large mat in front of my door. Another concern that I had was very tight turns if you are a big rig are pulling a boat behind your truck. The Launch at Jolly Roger was very tight spot to try and launch your boat but it looks like they are in the process of adding another power pole and moving the one in the way to be able to maneuver in the boat launch better. I came to Jolly Roger with a 30’ boat and was told it would accommodate big rigs. The boat dock can use some improvements so your boat doesn’t get scratched up on either side in the gulf side. I rated Jolly Roger a 4 star simply because my boat situation and big rig friendly. If I was trailering a camper, smaller than a 44 foot RV that I would’ve probably rated them a five star however, like I said before the place is gorgeous and very well kept up with a great friendly staff.

We stayed in our RV here for just over a month. Customer service is state of the art. Girls at the front desk were always positive and helpful. Mail service too was excellent. If you don't want to take a shower in your rig there are 2....yes only 2 stalls to shower in. Two camodes and (mens room) 2 urinals for a campground this big. Usually very clean but plan on waiting to shower or whatever during peak season. If you bring your kids here remember..... it's not a water park at the pool. Lots of space at sombrero beach. You get warned once then asked to leave and not come back. Believe me there is a long list of people with respectful offspring waiting to take your place....or so they say...🤔 Enjoyed making new friends but not the NOSEEUMS......😒.

Jolly Roger RV Resort is the best place to stay. The staff are friendly, accommodating, and professional. This is not a parking lot style RV park. Lots of grass, and beautifully landscaped. There is an ocean swimming section that is great for snorkeling and other water activities. Fishing right off the dock area. Huge Tiki zone and a beach area with chairs and tables to put your feet in the sand with your morning coffee or glass of wine to enjoy the gorgeous evening sunsets that happen here. Pet friendly with large dog park and other dog walk zones. There are also boat slips with nearby boat ramp available along with vacation rental rooms. Very well maintained and very clean. A couple of great restaurants within walking distance as well as the Dolphin Research Center.
